I got it today after reading a 10/10 review of it and it is awsome.
Graphics are amazing and i think its your kinda blend of FPS and RTS.
Im realy enjoying it, which i aint said for a long time about a game.
Single player only but would be good to chat on TS while we played it.
Later dudes!!!

I have also been reading good things about this game today... in mainstream press magazine supplements, of all places. If the press have taken notice of this game, it must be good.
I will have a serious look at ME2. Unfortunately, since my early gaming days, I seem to have lost my stamina / mojo. I have ended up like an old friend of mine. He is about 10 years older than me, and I have now reached the age he was, when I last worked with him. He purchased many games back then, but rarely finished any. I could never understand this, until now. Every single player RPG I bought, I completed, without fail, but not any more. The latest example was Fallout 3, which was a classic game, and recaptured the feeling of the first two games, but unlike the first two, I never finished it. I just ran out of steam; couldn't be bothered any more. The same thing happened with FarCry 2. And since becoming a Battlefield / MP game addict, it felt better to have a game that I could just pick up and put down; that didn't have a beginning and an end, and even better, was a shared experience. Single player RPG's provide great escapism, which was why I played them, but sometimes they can still feel like a lonely experience - I guess the reason why WoW is so popular. My MP gaming has probably meant I've missed out on a load of really good SP games, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. being a prime example. But for all the regret of missing out on these games, for some reason, I often feel it is better not to start on something that I will probably never finish. Weird, huh? I think the difference these days is family / work / sleep commitments. I feel like I don't have nearly as much time to spend on gaming these days.
Still, I am not discounting buying it... although I always prefer to have played the prequel. However, I'm sure the second game is 'stand-alone' and does not rely too heavily on the first...? I'll let you know if I get it, and will log into TS, I promise.
P.S. I have just cancelled my pre-order for BF: BC2 as well.

Definitely. Roll on 19/02/2010. I can't wait to be training my plasma-caster on some Xenomorph's oversized cranium, and decapitating a few colonial marines to add to my skull collection. Bring it on.

*EDIT* Tried about 30 minutes early this morning. Moving around feels slower than in BF2. When moving your vision is wobbling from left to right which feels strange. I didnīt get good accuracyin RPG or didnīt understand the aiming yet. It seemed that one has to calculate the right aiming spot for different distances. "Missiles" were not hitting the crossbar with long distances and at close range they flew over tanks. Like always the gaming was mix of rambos, lone wolves and few co-operative players and lots of snipers.... I hate snipers. Didnīt test single player yet. I hope there is planes there to fly. This map I played was really small. Somewhat size of Strike at Karkand centre.
Seems that nade raping is history. I beleive that player has 1 grenade after spawn and maybe this grenade will be available later but it takes time before it is in use again. Instead there is other heavy weaponry in use such as armored vehicle etc. Aiming is easy thought I did not get kills in close combat as much as I beleived would be possible but then it's me and you all know my k/d ratio is about 0,7.
Good gaming, can't wait to get more online.
Just my luck was that Zboard refused to work properly so played with normal keyboard. Something I have not done for ages.
Felt good. No lag or similar. Annoying detail is that your killer is shown before you can respawn....
p.s forget about hit procentage.. just fire the weapon as much as possible.

Co-operation is everything. At some servers the gaming is smooth mutual assisting etc and some servers consist only noobs that get themselves only killed a lot.
Game feels so great that Wow, Oblivion and rest of the games will be set aside and BF bc2 will be favourite game. Grafics is great, playing smooth and fun.
Unlocks seems to come to the "area" where you get points or skills, what are you good at. If you fight well in a tank you get better armor. Melle fighter gets a knife etc. By planning you get what you want. You can spawn to any member on the group. Members are green trianlges in minimap. More info when I understand this game better.
